What’s New With the 2024 Jeep Wrangler

With several options, including a plug-in hybrid, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler has something for everyone. On the outside, the Wrangler sports numerous wheel designs and an updated grille. The interior offers new standard features including a 12.3-inch infotainment display to replace the much smaller screens from last year’s model.

An abundance of trim models provides numerous choices including two-door and four-door models. Select the Wrangler plug-in hybrid 4xe in Sport trim for an eco-friendly option, the premium features of the Rubicon X trim, or standbys like the Sport and Sport S trims. There’s also the Final Edition of the V-8-powered Rubicon 392.

The new Wrangler again proves a capable off roader with standard part-time four-wheel drive with a center console control lever. Jeep offers four powertrain options, beginning with an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual gearbox 3.6-liter V6 285-hp engine combined. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine is available with an eight-speed automatic transmission, or you can choose the plug-in hybrid 4xe with a standard V-6 electric motor that puts out 375-hp or an available 6.4-liter V-8 engine option.

Wrangler’s 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder option offers a peppy 270 hp and 295 pound feet of torque. For more robust power, try the 6.4-litre V-8 engine with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The base two-door Wrangler Sport with a V-6 engine and six-speed manual transmission, the four-door Wrangler Sahara with automatic transmission and Sahara with four-cylinder hybrid powertrains all reached 60 mph in under 7 seconds while the Rubicon models made it well under 6 seconds.

2024 Jeep Wrangler Interior and Safety Features

Still holding to the traditional Jeep Wrangler vibe, the 2024 model adds some modern touches like active noise-cancellation for in-cabin phone calls and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® capability. The new 12.3-inch touchscreen is easy to use. And, the latest onboard navigation system includes over 2,000 trail maps with the ability to download additional ones.

Wrangler’s latest models include standard safety features like front seat and second row airbags, stability control, traction control, and more. Blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and cross-traffic alert are also available. With model ground clearances ranging from 9.7-inches to 11.1-inches, you’ll have peace of mind when tackling difficult terrain in your Wrangler.
